When I came to check it out, it was growing very fast but Temecula still had a great home town family environment with so much to offer.
Temecula is in the Inland Empire of Riverside CA, right on the border of San Diego and about 45 miles from Orange County. We are without a doubt a commuter city because of our location between San Diego and Orange County but make no mistake when you come home to Temecula, there is no place like home!
Temecula/Murrieta has a small airport for your convenience located in French Valley, right down Winchester Rd. It is specifically for adjacent to the communities of Temecula, Murrieta and Winchester. The airport, located on Highway 79, is only minutes away from Interstate 15 and the 215 Corridor. The wide-open approaches and ground support services accommodate most aircraft including jets and turbo-props. It is small and does not create a huge noise problem but does help accommodate our needs here in Temecula.
